This is the third Sajen ring we've brought in from the same Hobbesville, North Carolina estate — joining the Caribbean Blue and the Champagne Quartz already in our collection. Finding one Sajen in an estate is a nice surprise. Finding three tells you something about the woman who owned them: she knew this designer's work and collected it deliberately.

Marianna and Richard Sajen built a devoted following in the 1980s with their bold, stone-forward designs set in sterling silver. Their signature is unmistakable — oversized natural gemstones, ornate swirl cutwork around the bezel, and an open-back shank that makes the ring comfortable for daily wear while allowing for slight adjustment. This one holds a 16mm rainbow lavender quartz that shifts between soft purple and pale blue depending on the light.

The ring is in excellent condition, consistent with the care this collector gave everything in her possession. For anyone already drawn to the other two Sajen pieces, this one completes a small curated set — and that's not something you come across often.

Care Sterling silver will develop natural patina over time. Polish with a silver cloth to restore brightness. Rainbow lavender quartz is durable but can be scratched by harder stones — store separately from diamonds and sapphires. The open-back shank should not be forced wider or narrower, as repeated bending can weaken the silver. Remove before washing hands, swimming, or applying lotions.
