A round little owl in glossy denim-blue, about 3.5 inches tall and just about as wide — the kind of small character that catches your eye and makes you smile. Rosette eyes, a small beak, and embossed feathers across the body give it real personality, and a band of natural raw clay around the rim plays nicely against all that glossy color. Best of all, it arrives already planted: a spiky faux succulent sits in the top, styled and ready to display the moment you unwrap it. No watering, no green thumb, no fuss.
  • Glossy denim-blue glaze with a faint teal lean
  • Molded figural owl — rosette eyes, small beak, embossed feather detail
  • Raw-clay accent band around the rim, a deliberate contrast to the glaze
  • Faux succulent included, already planted and ready to display
  • Roughly 3.5" tall — a true shelf or sill piece
  • Solid glazed base; a decorative cachepot meant for display
Condition: Excellent. The glaze is clean and intact — no chips, cracks, or crazing. The unglazed rim band is the intended finish.

Ceramic Owl Planter with Faux Succulent — Denim-Blue Glaze, Small Figural Pot

Vintage

Figural Owl Planter

This little owl comes from a North Carolina estate, out of a home full of collected things — pottery and glassware gathered with a real eye, the sort of rooms where every shelf held something worth a second look. Among all those curated objects, he was the small pop of color and whimsy: a cheerful character that kept its green year-round on a sunny sill, season after season.

He still does. The faux succulent tucked into his top means he arrives styled and ready to display, no watering or care required — a bit of permanent green for anyone who loves the look of a planted pot without the upkeep. Charming, characterful, and ready to brighten a shelf the moment he's unwrapped.

Materials Molded glazed ceramic in glossy denim-blue, with an unglazed raw-clay band at the rim. Includes a faux succulent already planted in the top.
Care Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe the glaze with a barely damp cloth if needed. Keep the faux succulent dry; do not water.

Some pieces earn their keep just by being cheerful, and this little owl is one of them. He's a round, chunky thing — about 3.5 inches tall and nearly as wide — finished in a glossy denim-blue that leans the faintest bit toward teal. The molded detail gives him all his charm: rosette eyes that catch the light, a small triangular beak, and embossed feathers running down the body. Around the rim, a band of natural raw clay is left unglazed on purpose, and that bit of matte against all the gloss is what makes him interesting to look at. He comes to us from a North Carolina estate, out of a home full of collected things — pottery and glassware gathered with a real eye, the sort of rooms where every shelf had something worth a second look. This was the small pop of color among them: a bit of whimsy on a sill that stayed green no matter the season. And he still does, because that's the trick of him. The faux succulent is already in place — a spiky, dark-green aloe-style plant tucked into the top, styled and ready to go. Unwrap it, set it down, and it looks exactly as it should. No watering, no repotting, no worrying whether you remembered. Year-round green for people who'd rather not think about it. (No judgment here — some of us keep our plants alive precisely this way.)
