Modern Licensed Costume Jewelry, Global Bohemian
The collector behind this Hobbesville estate didn't limit herself to antiques. She appreciated craftsmanship wherever she found it, and apparently she liked these Heidi Klum 'Wildlife' drops enough to own them in two finishes. This is the oxidized pewter version — the cooler, moodier sibling to the champagne-gold pair.
Same bold geometric silhouette, same textured mesh and pyramid stud detailing, but the darkened pewter finish gives them a heavier visual weight. Contemporary, not vintage — part of Klum's QVC collection from the mid-2010s. In very good condition, with the oxidized finish intact. If you're drawn to the shape but want something with a little more edge, this is the one.

Not Vintage — But It Belongs Here
We're upfront about this: these earrings aren't vintage, and they aren't pretending to be. They're from Heidi Klum's Wildlife costume jewelry collection, produced for QVC sometime between 2012 and 2016. Licensed, mass-produced in China, sold through a home shopping channel. On paper, not exactly the pedigree we usually look for. But here's the thing — sometimes a piece just fits. These drop earrings have the kind of oxidized, textural, almost architectural quality that makes them feel like they could have come from a bohemian jeweler's bench in the 1970s. The diamond-shaped silhouette is bold without being loud. The front face layers woven mesh against raised pyramid studs and a beaded border, creating the kind of tactile contrast that rewards a closer look. Flip them over and you'll find a radiating sunburst pattern — a design detail that most mass-market pieces wouldn't bother with, but one that means these earrings look intentional even from behind. The round beaded dome post tops sit comfortably, and the overall weight is substantial enough to feel like real jewelry without dragging. The oxidized pewter-tone finish has that perfectly imperfect patina that pairs beautifully with sterling silver, aged brass, or worn leather. Heidi Klum launched Wildlife through QVC in late 2011, and the collection ran for several years. It was inspired by global flea market finds — which, honestly, is pretty much our whole aesthetic. The line originally retailed from $30 to $200 depending on the piece, and brought runway-influenced boldness to accessible price points. These diamond-shape drops were among the more striking designs in the collection.Details
