This necklace and earring set came out of the same Hobbesville, North Carolina estate — a collection assembled over decades by a woman who knew jewelry from the inside, having spent her working life in a high-end shop. She collected across every register, from fine pieces to things that simply caught her eye and earned a place in the rotation.

The set pairs genuine abalone paua shell inlay with silver-tone settings — heart pendant on a necklace of graduated rectangular links, with matching heart earrings. Paua shell does something no stone or enamel can replicate: that shifting play of blue, green, and violet that changes every time you move. It's bohemian in spirit, a little romantic, and put together with more care than the price suggests. Condition is very good, and the shell inlay is intact with strong color throughout.
